We are excited to announce we are bringing Rings into our apparatus schedule starting Monday 29th August. Rings will rotate through the timetable as per other apparatus so it will appear on every night every 5 weeks.
Gymnastics Rings are a fantastic piece of multi-purpose equipment that builds both shoulder strength and shoulder flexibility. Skills on the rings are practised both above and below the rings and can include holds as well as swings. The rings should remain "still" when movements are performed which in turn requests a large number of stabilising muscles (small muscles) to be recruited maximising the strength benefits.
